Bringing your furry friend!

The Island is a wonderful place to bring your dog. It's extremely dog friendly almost everywhere, including the ferries! We have beautiful footpath walks in all directions straight from the door, the details of which are all in the cottage information when you arrive. We are surrounded by fields and stunning countryside and a 20 minute walk will take you to the coastal path and dog friendly beaches. Our doggy house rules

Please read the following if you are bringing your furry friend. 

Hedgerow & Fossil -2 medium/large dogs per property, or 3 small dogs.

The Bake House - 1 medium/large dogs per property, or 2 small dogs.

No puppies please, all dogs need to be house trained.

As dogs stay free we please ask you to follow our doggy rules. We understand that your dogs may be used to cuddling up on the sofa or in bed with you and we are happy for this to continue at the cottage, otherwise it wouldn't be much of a holiday for you both. However, please make sure you bring your own clean throws to cover any sofa/chair, and your own bedding must be used if they are sleeping with you. It is very difficult to get dog hairs out of bedding and not fare on non doggy guests.

Please also bring your own dog bowls/dog toys etc. & towels for for drying off wet dogs.

We have a hose pipe at the front of the cottages to wash down muddy dogs.

All that said, we really do have the best guests staying with us and our cottages are always well looked after, we thank everyone for this!
